Hi, my name is Val. I was born in 1962, which makes me, well, old. My birthday is almost exactly 9 months after my parents 12th Anniversary...Nice present Ma...I spent the first 15 years of my life in the same house, and have been moving around ever since. My husband of 19 years (Holy longevity, Batman!) and I moved to Cumberland from Bridgton in July of 2004. My take on Cumberland is HERE. And from there to Gray in July.. I have 4 children-26 year old twin boys; Josh and J from my first marriage-see my other website www.sociopathexspouses.com:) * I also have 16 year old Andrew, whom I am no longer homeschooling (!), and Katherine, 9 whom we have dubbed "Hurricane Kath", just a few of the reasons why my time is limited. I am (mostly) a stay at home Mom, a good cook see recipes, etc. a decent quilter, (see quilting page, GOOD pix coming soon), a lazy gardener, ( I took some pix and in amongst the weeds are some FLOWERS! Click HERE!) I love God, my husband, my kids, my parents and siblings, my friends, my in-laws (!), games, reading, music, Maine, my new house and have an unhealthy affinity for my car, and my fabric stash... |

I won't really confiscate your cookware if you use cottage cheese instead of ricotta...you get the idea. There really isn't too much in my life that I take too seriously...obviously! |
My husband is putting his two business degrees to excellent use driving for Dunkin' Donuts:) It's a good thing I don't care much for donuts, otherwise at the rate he brings them home, I'd bear more than a faint resemblance to a certain Austin Powers' character...She weighs a metric ton... The upside is he gets coffee (which I love) at cost!! |

Yup, Val's been REEAAALLL lazy about updating lately...LOL So much to do, more recipes, , post new family pix...Having a job is REALLY cramping my style:))So come on in and see what makes Val tick; Cooking, recipes, quilting,fun, humor and my eccentric family! Yup, genealogy stuff has been deleted cuz I'm a Cranky Yankee that doesn't like having stuff plagarized...:))) I find it amusing that the stuff stolen was incorrect. If they had contacted me, I would have given them correct information. |
